  • Assessment of Poverty, Demographics, and Gender Responsive Economic Opportunities - Triple P

UN Women and the Ministry of Social Development (MoSD) are working together to empower vulnerable Jordanian and Syrian refugee women through the Oasis Model. This approach focuses on building the resilience and empowerment of women, both in the short-term and in the long-term. With 13 Oasis Centers already established across 9 governorates, UN Women and MoSD are now collaborating to identify potential new locations for even more centers. To support this mission, UN Women has contracted MMIS Management Consultants to assess poverty, demographic, and gender-responsive local economic opportunities in selected areas, ensuring that the needs of each community are evaluated and addressed.

  • Providing Market Research Services to 14 High Potential Jordanian Startups

Oasis500, the leading startup incubator in Jordan, contracted MMIS to enhance the market research capabilities of 14 promising startups within its ecosystem. The objective was to equip these companies with the skills needed to undertake professional market research activities, which would serve as critical tools for strategic planning and future fundraising efforts. To achieve this, MMIS designed and delivered a comprehensive training curriculum that covered essential market research concepts for startups. The training was provided to all 14 companies, ensuring that each received the foundational knowledge required for effective market research. Beyond group training, MMIS offered personalized mentorship and coaching, guiding each startup through the practical implementation of their market research plans. This hands-on approach ensured that all companies could apply the learned concepts directly to their unique business contexts. MMIS also conducted thorough reviews of the market research plans developed by the startups, providing feedback and validation to ensure their quality and applicability.
